Bahrain International Airshow: Valo Receives License for Luxury Business Jet Services; FlyDubai Shows Off Upgraded Boeing Aircraft

Valo Aviation announced on Wednesday that it has been approved as Bahrain’s first luxury business jet operator, as the country works to attract wealthy clients and businesses.

Valo’s Services

Valo, led by CEO Hanna Hakamo, plans to offer a full range of services for private jets. Over the next two years, the company aims to manage 10 to 15 aircraft, providing services like aircraft management, charter flights, maintenance, and flight support.

The main focus will be arranging charter flights for private jet owners. Their first managed jet, a Gulfstream G550 owned by a client from Kuwait, was introduced at the Bahrain International Airshow. Initially, Valo will specialize in Gulfstream and Dassault Falcon jets to deliver high-quality charter services.

Hakamo highlighted that Gulfstream and Dassault Falcon jets are ideal for the region, combining comfort, advanced technology, and excellent customer support. She emphasized the company’s deep experience with Dassault Falcon jets, praising their custom interiors and reliable service.

According to Hakamo, Bahrain is the perfect place to launch this business, as many business travelers and racing fans, especially during events like the Grand Prix, use private jets but lack local servicing options.

Revamped business class

FlyDubai, a budget airline from Dubai, introduced a newly updated Boeing 737-800 at the Bahrain International Airshow. The aircraft features a redesigned business class with lie-flat seats and a modernized cabin, offering a more premium experience for budget travelers.

IronNet, a company focused on AI-based cybersecurity, and Asterion, a service that defends against drones, have teamed up to protect important infrastructure. Their partnership combines IronNet’s AI cybersecurity with Asterion’s anti-drone technology to create a stronger defense system.

More than 125 different types of aircraft are being displayed at the event.
